The Baltimore Gamer Symphony Orchestra & Choir

Level up with our all-volunteer community orchestra!

About Us

Who We Are

Our orchestra was founded by a graduate of the University of Maryland, Kira Levitzky, and has been sharing an appreciation for video game music since 2013. We perform orchestral arrangements of music from video games for the enjoyment of the Baltimore community and surrounding areas. Along with concerts, we also host Instrument Petting Zoos where children and adults are able to interact with various musical instruments.

We have worked in cooperation with the Baltimore City Public Schools, Gamescape at Artscape, the Maryland Zoo, and Freefall Baltimore, to name a few!

What We Do

We do not hold auditions for entry into the ensemble, only for solos/ensembles/part placement when necessary.  All skill levels and backgrounds are welcomed! Video game experience is NOT a requisite to join.

Whatever a member is able to provide us when they enter, we push them to be their very best and allow them to discover any untapped potential.

We also give performances for the public as well as learning opportunities when able within the communities of Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Where We Are Located
