This group is primarily responsible for keeping track of all orchestra expenditures, donations, and other financials, working closely with the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
- Organizes reimbursement for authorized purchases by leadership and orchestra members.
- Acts as the point of contact for accepting donations, and ensures that receipts are given as necessary to donors for their records.
- Ensuring that funds are deposited into the BGSO’s Turner Station Recreation Council account for use.
- Keeps an account of spending within the orchestra for budget assessment purposes.
- Maintains the BGSO budget for equipment purchasing and event spending.
- Makes seasonal reports in both spring and fall for review by the Executive Director.
- Acts as the financial liaison to the Turner Station Recreation Council Treasurer.
- Acts as the primary point of contact and organizer for fundraising efforts within the orchestra.
