BGSO's Repertoire Committee

 This group is tasked with the acquisition and/or the writing and arranging of music for the BGSO, working alongside the Music Director and Choir Director. 

Responsibilities:

1. Finding and/or creating new arrangements and altering existing arrangements as necessary for BGSO’s specific instrumentation. 
2. Informs Administration members when required to reach out to composers or other organizations, such as in cases where alterations to arrangements that the orchestra has gained use of are needed. 
3. Responsible for the organization of the BGSO Dropbox for music accessibility for members. 
4. Act as the point of contact for uploading new repertoire to the Dropbox for member access. 
5. Assist the Music Director and Choir Director with recommendations of themes for events and the gathering of repertoire appropriate for those themes. 
6. Setting guidelines for music submissions from other orchestra members or outside parties that wish to arrange for the BGSO.
